The Xero Shoes Prio is the brand’s best-selling shoe series. Since the first Prio model was considered to be more for fitness and for running, the brand decided to make a version that can be worn all day. Materials

The upper of the Prio All Day is made of full-grain leather which is the strongest part of the hide of an animal. What’s great about this material is that it will have more fiber strength as it ages. According to the Xero website, the Prio All Day is true to size. They suggest getting a pair in the usual size measurements. The fine-tuning of the fit can be done by tightening the laces which are connected to heel and instep straps. Inside is a removable insole which also improves the fit and can easily be taken out.

Performance

The Prio All Day has been worn by many in doing errands, walking, training, and even casual running. The sole felt protective but still flexible while doing these activities as mentioned in a good number of reviews. 

The upper is pretty flexible as well because of the material it is primarily made up of. One small drawback is that it’s not very breathable according to a reviewer. It’s best not to use the Prio All Day in very hot weather.

Prio All-Day VS Prio

There are a lot of similarities between the  Prio All Day and the Prio Shoes by Xero. Both have the same outsole material, both have a removable insole, and both are covered by Xero’s 5000-mile warranty.

The main difference between these models is the upper material. While the Prio has a breathable mesh upper that looks sporty. The instep straps also contribute to its sportiness by being reflective. The Prio All Day, on the other hand, has a full-grain leather upper with the usual non-reflective instep straps. It’s not as breathable but it does look more stylish and formal.

Taking a closer look at the lug patterns on the outsole, the Prio All Day is “luggier” compared to the outsole of the Prio. The protrusion of the pattern is not as prominent compared to the All Day version which supplies better grip as based on some reviews online.

Lastly, the Prio Shoes has a kids version which you can check out here. It can be an all-around sports shoe for your little ones. The Prio All Day unfortunately doesn’t have a kids version.

The Xero Prios All Day is a great shoe for everyday use. It was designed for users to do basically anything in them – going for a stroll, standing all day at work, casual running, and so on. Aesthetically, it’s a good option to transition from day to night and from casual to semi-formal occasions.
