Product information
Extra sustainable cotton
The material for Buttercup’s upper is manufactured using resource-conserving methods. It’s composed of 100% recycled cotton.
No chemicals: Water-repellent weave
The cotton weave is exceptionally dense, which enhances the fabric’s water-repellent properties.
Fewer materials used
The edging is made from the same material as the upper. This reduces the number of different materials that need to be used to produce a shoe.

Canvas (100% recycled cotton) – buttercup yellow
Interior lining/mid-sole:
100% certified organically grown cotton
Insole:
Hemp-flax fleece (50% hemp, 50% flax) [removable]
Outsole:
60% synthetic rubber from approx. 33% recycled material, 25% silica, 15% recycled cork – off-white
Fit
True to size as measured with the Fitkit.
Care
The shoes are already pre-treated and do not need waterproofing before the first wearing. We recommend periodic follow-up treatments.
The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth.
Not machine washable.
